President's Office - This is the official Internet site of Mexico's Head of State.

SRE - Secretaria de Relaciones Exteriores - Mexico's Foreign Office. Site published in Spanish and English.

Secretaria de Hacienda y Credito Publico - (The Treasury) Official title in English is Ministry of Finance and Public Credit; this organisation is Mexico's tax collector and bursar. This site also publishes a range of Mexican economic statistics and detailed information on public finances. The site has a link in English.

Gobernacion - Mexico's Ministry of the Interior. Site in Spanish only.

Ministry of Tourism - Mexico's official Tourism Site.

Mexican Embassy in London - Connect to the Mexican Embassy online for information about business travel visas, work permits, contact details, etc.

British Embassy in Mexico - Connect to the British Embassy in Mexico on the Internet.

Mexican Embassy in Washington. This site has a link in English.

U.S. Embassy In Mexico. The embassy is located half a block from the Angel of the Independence Monument.

INEGI (Mexican Govt Statistics Office) - You'll find comprehensive economic, social, geographic and demographic statistics from the Mexican Government's official stats agency.

Secretaria de Economía - The Economy Ministry publishes information on foreign investment, business and trade, and has a link in English.

PIAPYME - An information and resources organization based in Mexico, dedicated to helping small and medium enterprises conduct trade between Mexico and the European Union. Website in Spanish only.

Mexican Yellow Pages Portal - (In Spanish) Not the official Mexican Yellow Pages managed by Telmex, but has links to useful business information for research purposes.

Mexico Business Information Portals

Trade Partners UK (Mexico) - The Mexican Pages of the DTI's 'Trade Partners' site, offering information and advice to British Companies who want to do business in Mexico.

American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico - Published in both Spanish and English, the AmCham web site in Mexico is a particularly good resource of information for anybody doing research into business in Mexico. The site includes up-to-date demographic and economic statistics about Mexico.

British Mexican Business Network - An opportunity to join the network and gain access to their extensive contacts and information databases.

Mexico-Trade - Sponsored by Bancomext, this site is in English and promotes Mexico as a place to trade and invest.

Canning House - This organization does not deal specifically with Mexico - but with the whole of Latin America, and provides information to help companies learn about the opportunities available in Latin America, including Mexico.

Latin World (Mexico)- Online portal with information and directories about countries in Latin America, including Mexico.

British Chambers of Commerce - Official site of the BCC, including an Export Zone with advice for companies trading internationally.

Banco de Mexico - Mexico's counterpart to the Bank of England (UK), ECB (Germany) and Federal Reserve (US). Site contains many useful facts, figures and fiscal information about the state of Mexico's economy. The site is published in Spanish and English.

Nacional Financiera. Known as Nafin, this is Mexico's principal development bank.

El Universal - One of Mexico's biggest daily papers, news online does not require subscription, in Spanish
