This year, the date falls on the same day as Día de la Candelaria when, by tradition, if your Kings’ Day slice of delicious Rosca de Reyes revealed a baby doll, you to host a social night to serve tamales on February 2nd and invite your close friends and family.

This article shares details about the registration rules and process, and we are keeping it regularly updated as new information becomes available. Technical issues appear to be present in some cases, as observed from online systems and comments left by people who have attempted to register. The deadline date is June 30, 2026, and telephone companies will supposedly suspend all lines not registered on July 1.

In 2022, most of Mexico abandoned the practice of moving its clocks. This year the spring clock change in the US/Canada happens on March 8. (Europe moves its clocks forward on March 29.)
