Appointment-making and availability at Mexican consulates

Some consulates use an online calendar to schedule residency interview appointments; others require that the applicant email them requesting an appointment date.  Appointment availability and lead times vary by consulate.

  • If the consulate you apply at uses an online system, our associates will interface with that system on your behalf to book the appointment.
  • If the consulate you apply at requires an email, you must send this from your own account and our associate will provide customized wording for the request and the email address to send it to.

When you’re issued with a residency visa, you need to arrive in Mexico before its expiry date and exchange the visa for a residency card.
