Buenos días Alicia. Primera un prosperous año.

I think it's a wise decision to move back to your roots.

We have spent a few years as snowbirds from Canada in ajijic . We were checking it out as a future retirement place.

I can assure you that ajijic has a large retirement community, consisting mainly of American and Canadian retirees.

Quite a number of smaller retirement homes.

The weather is good, except for the winters which are a little cooler.

Another good place to consider is the area by San Miguel de Allende, GTO. Also lots of retired American people and some Canadians. Maybe a little more expensive but definitely a bigger place.

Good luck with your final decision.
