New $1,000 Peso Bank Note

The Bank of Mexico has just announced the launch of a new $1,000 peso bank note, to be released next week, April 7.  The new bill replaces the existing turquiose/purple-colored $1,000 peso bank note currently circulating.  $1,000 pesos is worth approximately US$95 at current exchange rates.
